So many people ask me about pressure points, do they work, are they easy to use, can I control someone just by putting my finger on a special point.
Do they work?
Yes, on about 2/3 of people. The trouble is you only find out who they work on when you try to put one on and your aggressor bites your face off. The best pressure points are the eyeballs, forget the rest, even slight pressure is painful.
Are they easy to use?
No. They are easy in practise in the dojo, but almost impossible if your partner resists. The only time I've got one on in a real fight was when we were rolling about on the floor and I managed to get hold of his face and squeezed until my eyes popped - never mind his! Mind you he quickly became compliant after that.
Can I control someone just by putting my finger on a special point?
Erm, read the above - No!
